when i was 8 i was at a lake up in the trinity alps, i was sitting in the same spot for about 3 hours building sand castles and playing with g.i. joe's. for some reason i decided to move my towel about 2 feet to the left. less than 30 seconds after that a crow falls from the sky and buried half it's body in the sand where i had just been sitting. the beak would have definitely impaled my body. my family thought i was cursed for a little while but i'm pretty sure i'm blessed.
