Born and raised in Kiev, Ukraine (it's not "the Ukraine") in a family of naval officer, I moved every 3-4 years from one city to another. Lived in Vladivostok, Russia and Baku, Azerbaijan. Eventually moved to the US to go to a university near San Francisco, and upon graduation, put my roots down in Los Angeles. The longest I have ever stayed in one city.

I subscribe to the idea that I create my own reality and am responsible for everything that's in my life. I agree with Carl Jung who said,

"I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become."

I'm determined and ambitious. I work hard, get what I want, and still have fun on the way. I believe that you can only be as happy as you allow yourself to be and that we are what we THINK we are. It's all in our minds!

I worship the power of dreams. Dreams have done miracles for me, because eventually they become reality. I beleve in dreams because if you believe in them, they come true. Or, like Walt Disney put it,

"If you can dream it, you can do it."

I came to the United States with $50 in my pocket, but managed to go to a top school, start my own business, and pursue my other dreams.

If there's anyone who personifies Heart, Initiative and Soul -- It's Staas. Like an Onion's layers he has revealed deeper and deeper levels to himself as I have gotten to know him. The stories and the depth to his adventure in life has only offered more and more insight and intrigue. Staas is as unique as unique gets, wrapped in a brilliant body and mind. To know him is to be blessed by a true friend and an honest heart, and I look forward to the the stories to come. xo

It's almost TOO easy to see how hot this guy is...but trust me, get to know him, and there is so much more. Not the least of which is his great outlook on life. Definitely one of the best.
