Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is set to deliver remarks at a Wisconsin Right to Life event Friday evening, one of the few speeches the former Republican presidential nominee will have given since she resigned the governorship last summer.
But Palin appears to be doing her best to keep a low profile on this trip: no press will be allowed into the Milwaukee auditorium where she will speak and those who have paid the $30 admittance fee are unable to carry in cell phones, cameras, laptops, or recording devices of any kind.
Wisconsin Democratic Party Chairman Mike Tate told the Wisconsin Radio Network he finds all these restrictions "bizarre."
"You know, for someone who claims to be a rogue and isn't afraid of what other people think it really is sort of hypocritical to not let the media, the press cover your event."

Oh my - this has been a fun string of crazy. As for the original post, it's typical of the "You're with us or you're against us mentality." It is the mindset that got us in the war in Iraq, that has failed us with the mortage crisis, etc. Sarah Palin is a precious gift for anyone who actually graduated from college. Thank God for Levi being such a thorn in her side.

What about the infatuation with Clinton & Obama by the not-so-far left? They can do no wrong.
But I think enough intelligent people on both sides of the aisle understand that she does not have the intelligence, experience or wisdom to ever be in a leadership position for the country. She probably knows this as well and she's found her place as a spokesperson/cheerleader/what-have-you.
As far as electing a female president. I think we're probably at the stage where that could happen. I don't know of any candidates in either party who are strong contenders at this point in time.

This infatuation with Sarah Palin by the psycho left is amusing at best. As long as they are critical of such small, trivial things, few will take them seriously. Lets talk about the Democrats conjuring up a 2000 page, $1 trillion healthcare bill in secret behind closed doors which, if signed by the president, will greatly burden productive American taxpayers for generations to come.
Like it or not, Sarah is not going away. I do not believe a woman can run for the top slot and be elected today. Any woman who is forceful and dares to challenge a man seriously in business or for President will be classified as being a bitch or doesn't know her place. She is smart and a threat to radical liberal and progressive trends. I like her.
As far as being gay and Republican, I am an American first. A penis does not have a brain and I vote for candidates that make sense rather than try to appeal to my own special interest and then ignore me once they are elected.
@ "Mike" - I follow through on my commitments, Sarah can't say the same. Although, I'm glad she's still around; she's good for the DNC.

Sarah stuck her nose in the New York district 23 race and look what happened, a seat held by the republican party since the Civil War is now a democrat, so by all means, keep working Sarah, if those are the accomplishments that Mike wants to brag about then I'm all for it!
I will agree with Mike, for an intellectually challenge person, she has accomplished much, like becoming the governor of alaska, then quitting being governor. but her getting elected, i think that's more of a statement of the people of alaska. lol I guess idiots will alway elect other idiots.
