Today, I was on the internet chatting with someone. In an effort to insult me, he asked me, "Are just a loser who sits at home in a muu muu and listensto oprah songs?"
"Did she record an album?" I asked.

The title of this blog is a misnomer, as I have always been in love since day one of this blessed relationship. But i have finally realized my true love and fallen in LOVE with a woman and her delicious treat she brings me. Her name is Deborah, but I call her Debbie. More...
So the other day I was over to one of my favorite websites, UtahPolicy.com, and I was absolutely DELIGHTED to see that Joe "the Plumber" Wurzelbacher will be making a tour of Utah to discuss cleaning up Washington. Seriously! What the hell? I am all about cleaning up Washington, but why is he even still relevant?

Today, I was checking in to one of my websites known for hosting the scum of the internet. I go purely for entertainment and it usually pays off. Today, I ran across a personal, and upon first glance, I didn't think much of it. It seemed pretty tame compared to the usual. More...
The economy has been hit hard by this recession facing our country and the world. Last year, the United States experienced negative inflation for the first time in decades. The Social Security Administration does not issue cost-of-living adjustments in that case, as those adjustments are pegged to inflation. More...
I am a proud member of the Democratic Party. I have supported in time and money many democratic candidates for various offices. I feel that the democrats, for all their faults, have the right ideas about many issues, including helping out people who need it the most, and taking a liberal approach to many social issues.

So I read (ok, skim) the New York Times almost every day. Today, as I was skimming I came across the Fashion & Style section and their coverage of Paris Fashion Week. I have never fully understood haute coture. I mean, to me, fashion should always be something wearable, even if it pushes the envelope and makes people change perceptions about clothing. And I get that these fashion shows are about a real art form, and not about a designer's everyday collection. So I took a look as some of the outfits, all of which were pretty cool, despite being totally unwearable in social settings. (Unless you are Austin Hair).

Though this blog's title could have many meanings in my case, I thought in honor of the LDS General Conference, I would pull the Photoshop beauty out of the graphic design archives. This particular piece is one of my favorites, and has been banned by Connexion at least 5 times for comparing a public figure to a Terrorist, Nazi, Communist or Fascist. Still not sure which one of those James Bond is. Anywho, enjoy.

I love Wikipedia. I have been known to read articles for 3 hours straight. I learn so much, and it lends itself to my pedantic knowledge of everything. Well last night, I was looking up some information about the city Provo in Utah. Provo seems to have a high concentration of underground gays, despite being the bastion of dogmatic conservative though of our country. With schools like BYU, you would think there wouldn't be so many, and yet there are. But when I stumbled across the Provo city flag, I think I found my answer.

This last week I had a unique opportunity with 11 other students from SUU and the Michael O. Leavitt Center for Politics & Public Service to travel to New York City to meet with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the controversial figure and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

So I was on Facebook today when I saw an add for a group called GovLoop. Notice the description. "Celebrate Government Innovation" Government Innovation...Ha ha. I am pretty sure that such a thing does not exist.
I don't usually love random shit from the Internet. However, the more eccentric, the better I will like it. Well, I have found my new favorite thing of the day, and it combines two of my loves: karaoke and speaking dictionaries.Dictionaraoke has got to be the coolest thing ever. Please check it out. They have used the voices from speaking dictionaries and set them to karaoke music. More...

Anyone who knows me, probably also knows that I love to listen to good music, but know very little about it. That said, I still really love classical music. I was listening to an excellent selection this evening while I was laying down for the night and doing a little writing. One of my most favorite classical pieces is Pictures At An Exhibition by the great Mussorgsky, which happened to come on. If you don't know this piece, I suggest you listen to it. I think that the way this music tells a story and that you can feel that story unfolding, makes it such an interesting piece of music. It really creates imagery, just like writing a story. I just love it. A few weeks ago NPR even did a story about this very piece and a new take on it. Anywho, I am sure I will have something far more interesting to say one of these days. More...
