I have devoted my time and energy to a site dedicated to making the gay community a closer knit community with our straight allies and those across the state (CQSA.org) and I've also protested in the freezing cold, in the perfect weather, while sacrificing hours at work, with an awful hangover, at Eight O'Clock in the morning, and in the face of harmful threats - What have you done?

This boy is one of the most sincere people I know. He is gentle in word, yet will not compromise his own sense of character in order to stay gentle. I miss him now that I moved away, and I will miss him even more when he moves to California and it's not so easy to see him. Though, I believe he has a mission to accomplish for which he is supremely gifted. I believe we will all see his name on the big screen one day.
The quote below reminds me that while each of us is unique, Mike is altogether his own unique individual, with his own driven purpose, and that I am glad I can call him friend because of it.
"Everyone has his own specific vocation or mission in life; everyone must carry out a concrete assignment that demands fulfillment. Therein he cannot be replaced, nor can his life be repeated, thus, everyone's task is unique as his specific opportunity to implement it."
